Accountable, member-led governance

IDA's governance structure ensures strategic oversight, transparency, and effective implementation of its mission - with strategic direction set by the General Assembly and Board, and operations managed by the Secretariat.

MEMBER AUTHORITY

General Assembly

The highest authority of IDA, representing the collective voice of worldwide membership. Provides a platform for all paying members to participate in high-level priority setting and strategic oversight.

STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP

Board of Directors

The primary governing body providing strategic leadership and fiduciary oversight. The Board meets at least quarterly and consists of up to 15 members representing diverse geographic regions and sectors of global health.
