About the event
The Global Infectious Disease Awareness Week is a worldwide online campaign organized by the Infectious Disease Alliance (IDA). This unique week-long initiative is dedicated to raising awareness about the global burden of infectious diseases and highlighting the urgent need for sustained global action.
From 2nd February to 6th February, 2026, the program will feature online themes and interactive activities, including expert webinars, social media challenges, and global discussions. The campaign will bring together scientists, healthcare professionals, and NGOs to create a truly inclusive platform for education, collaboration, and advocacy.
