About the event
Tuberculosis and respiratory infectious diseases share primary healthcare entry points with non-communicable diseases, yet global advocacy and policy responses remain fragmented. This workshop brings together civil society leaders from IDA and GCTA to present practical lessons from building a multi-stakeholder platform integrating TB, infectious disease, and NCD advocacy across 35 countries.

1. Building an integrated civil society platform for TB and infectious disease advocacy
IDA's Primary Healthcare Coalition bridges TB, infectious disease, and NCD advocacy through a 150+ member platform across 35 countries, sharing lessons from coalition-building and policy engagement at WHA and World Health Summit.
2. Community-led TB advocacy within integrated infectious disease frameworks
GCTA integrates TB advocacy within infectious disease frameworks, reaching 27 organisations across India and engaging 65 programme staff in Timor-Leste through rights-based, patient-centred approaches to diagnostics access and stigma reduction within primary healthcare.
