Climate Change & Health
Connecting civil society expertise on infectious disease with climate advocacy to advance health-centred adaptation policy and financing.
The Climate Change and Health Committee positions IDA's civil society network at the intersection of climate action and infectious disease response. We coordinate engagement at COP negotiations, WHO climate and health processes, and national adaptation planning - developing evidence-based positions on climate-driven disease risks, health adaptation financing, and community resilience. Our work ensures infectious disease expertise is embedded in climate policy.
