NTDs & Vector-Borne Diseases

Advancing civil society advocacy to move NTDs and vector-borne diseases from the margins to the centre of the global health and financing agenda.

The NTDs and VBDs Committee coordinates IDA's policy advocacy on neglected tropical and vector-borne diseases. We develop joint civil society positions for WHO NTD Roadmap implementation, engage financing bodies, and connect disease response with broader equity, WASH, climate, and health systems advocacy. Our approach recognises NTDs not only as clinical challenges, but as markers of inequality that demand systemic policy responses.
