Pandemic Preparedness & Healthcare Emergency

Ensuring civil society shapes equitable pandemic preparedness - from WHO Pandemic Accord negotiations to national planning and community resilience.

The Pandemic Preparedness and Healthcare Emergency Committee is IDA's platform for coordinated civil society engagement in global health security. We participate in WHO Pandemic Accord negotiations, IHR amendment processes, and regional preparedness frameworks - advocating for equity provisions, community resilience, and accountable financing. Our work ensures civil society is an active shaper, not a passive recipient, of pandemic preparedness policy.
