IDA currently brings together around 45 colleagues across the globe. Our Partnership team consists of five talented individuals working in a hybrid model: three based in Copenhagen and two working remotely. The new Director will play a key role in shaping and implementing IDA’s Partnership strategy, expanding donor engagement, and supporting the long-term financial sustainability of our work.

Responsibilities

  • Support IDA’s overall Partnership strategy and operations.

  • Oversee the work of the partnership team and coordinate donor mapping, proposal development, and grant reporting.

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with institutional donors, philanthropic partners, and foundations.

  • Ensure alignment of Partnership efforts with IDA’s strategic priorities.

  • Report to the Executive Director and collaborate closely with the leadership team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Partnership, ideally within the international NGO or global health sector.

  • Strong track record in securing grants and managing donor relations.

  • Strategic mindset, strong leadership and coordination skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

What we offer

  • An opportunity to join a dynamic and impactful global health organization.

  • A flexible, remote-friendly, part-time engagement.

  • A collaborative and mission-driven working environment.
