About the job
The HR Director will play a more strategic role, overseeing HR processes and helping shape IDA’s people strategy. They will work closely with the Executive Director to foster a values-based, high-performing team environment.
Responsibilities
Lead recruitment strategy and oversee onboarding/offboarding
Develop and improve HR policies, volunteer coordination systems, and performance review frameworks
Ensure alignment with IDA’s principles of inclusion, equity, and transparency
Serve as a focal point for team development and well-being
Requirements
Background in HR, organizational psychology, administration, or related field
Strong organizational and communication skills
Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive matters
Experience with intercultural and remote teams is an asset
Motivation to contribute to global health and civil society
