The HR Associate will support day-to-day HR and coordination activities, including recruitment, pre-onboarding, offboarding, team communication, and record management. This remote and flexible unpaid internship/volunteer role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals at the beginning of their HR or nonprofit career to gain hands-on experience and grow professionally.
Responsibilities
Served as the primary HR point of contact for employees and leadership
Supported hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
Posted job vacancies, coordinated candidate outreach, and scheduled interviews
Collaborated with cross-functional teams across IDA
Supported onboarding and offboarding processes for members, volunteers, and partners
Maintained internal records and HR documentation
Assisted in organizing team-building activities and internal learning sessions
Requirements
Background in HR, organizational psychology, administration, or related field
Strong organizational and communication skills
Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive matters
Experience with intercultural and remote teams is an asset
Motivation to contribute to global health and civil society
