The Committee addresses respiratory and aerosol-transmitted infections including tuberculosis, COVID-19, influenza, RSV and airborne fungal diseases. It focuses on preparedness, surveillance, prevention, diagnostics, treatment and equitable access to essential interventions, while promoting innovation and collaboration across clinical, public health, environmental and civil society sectors.
