Zoonotic Diseases
Bringing civil society expertise to zoonotic disease governance, early warning systems, and One Health policy at the human-animal-environment interface.
The Zoonotic Diseases Committee positions civil society as an active partner in zoonotic disease governance. We engage IHR processes, Tripartite governance, and national preparedness frameworks - developing joint advocacy on early warning, community resilience, and cross-sector coordination. Our work ensures communities most exposed to zoonotic risk have a voice in the policies designed to protect them.
