About The World Vaccine Congress

Amsterdam (13th - 16th October 2025) Industry leaders and experts from across the globe will meet in Amsterdam to discuss advancements in research and development within the evolving vaccine industry. The event will address 12 important and varied tracks across this ever-growing field.

The line-up of speakers includes representatives from world-leading biotech and pharmaceutical companies like Moderna, Sanofi, and BioNTech. In addition, the Congress attracts senior academics, leaders from government, foundations, and national programmes, offering attendees a holistic perspective on the industry’s progression.

The congress proves to be a success year after year, receiving glowing accolades including a recommendation from Hippocampus Pharma: “It is always the best conference there is in Europe for the sector.” Similarly, Afrigen Biologics praised the event’s “great diversity and breadth... a well-organised event, rich in learning and networking.” Alongside educational opportunities, the Congress provides businesses with a chance to identify and develop new partnerships. As one Developing Countries Vaccine Manufacturers Network employee stressed, it was a “great opportunity to meet various sponsoring organizations and vendors under one roof.”

As the vaccine landscape continues to evolve under political division, misinformation, and shifting disease threats, the World Vaccine Congress Europe 2025 will bring together global health leaders to confront one of the most urgent questions of our time: how do we rebuild trust in vaccines?

Keynote panellists will include Robb Butler (Director, WHO), Wolfgang Philipp (Chief Science Officer, European Commission), and Professor Hanna Nohynek (Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare, Chair of WHO SAGE). Discussions will explore how health systems, governments, and international bodies can anticipate threats, respond to outbreaks, and rebuild the trust essential for effective immunisation.

A central theme of the event is vaccine confidence and public literacy, with a dedicated keynote session on the erosion of trust in science and the rise of polarised narratives around immunisation. Vaccine experts will examine what’s working to engage hesitant communities, the role of media and politics in shaping perceptions, and strategies to ensure accurate, culturally relevant messaging reaches populations most at risk.

The 2025 agenda reflects the complexity of today’s vaccine ecosystem—from declining childhood vaccination rates to the challenge of rolling out next-generation platforms in fragile trust environments. Voices from global institutions, health ministries, and industry will come together to examine the deeper systems underpinning vaccine equity, access, and acceptance.

The four-day event at the RAI Conference Centre will feature over 2,500 attendees, 280 speakers, 150 exhibitors, and some of the industry’s most disruptive start-ups. As the largest and most established European meeting on vaccine R&D, the Congress offers unrivalled opportunities to learn, connect, and network with global leaders.

Looking Ahead: WVC Washington DC 2026

Following the success of the previous edition, the World Vaccine Congress Washington DC will take place on 30 March - 02 April 2026. With a strong emphasis on innovation, collaboration, and policy dialogue, the Washington event promises to set the stage for the next wave of scientific and public health advancements.
