About the job

📣 Join the Policy Team at the Infectious Disease Alliance (IDA)

We are expanding our Policy Team to deliver two major initiatives:

🔹 The Infectious Diseases Policy Report – a flagship publication shaping regional and global health policy

🔹 The Unification of WHO Infectious Diseases Guidelines – an effort to streamline fragmented guidance into a practical, coherent framework

We are currently hiring:

Responsibilities

Lead IDA’s core policy projects and strategy
Oversee development of the Infectious Diseases Policy Report
Coordinate technical review and synthesis of WHO guidelines
Draft policy briefs and strategic documents for global and EU-facing events
Monitor infectious disease-related policy developments at WHO and EU levels
Contribute to and guide internal IDA working groups

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in health policy, infectious diseases, or multilateral institutions
Strong writing, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
Solid understanding of EU and/or WHO policy environments
Comfortable managing a small team and working across time zones
