About the job

Infectious Disease Alliance is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Trainee Accountant to help us maintain transparent, organized, and accurate financial records as we continue to grow our impact!

Responsibilities

  • Bookkeep all expenses, payments, and incoming funds.

  • Ensure proper documentation and financial tracking of all transactions.

  • Maintain clear financial structure and organization using Dinero (our accounting platform).

  • Monitor currency exchanges and understand how changes in rates affect project budgets.

  • Support budget planning, reporting, and basic financial analysis.

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure financial compliance and accountability.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of currency conversion and international payments.

  • Familiarity with digital accounting platforms (experience with Dinero is a plus).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • A proactive and trustworthy approach to financial management.

  • Graduated or current bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Any prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration will be considered an advantage.
