Gender Equality in Health
Integrating gender analysis into IDA's infectious disease advocacy to ensure policies are equitable, inclusive, and responsive to all communities.
The Gender Equality in Health Committee ensures gender equity is embedded across IDA's advocacy agenda. We develop civil society positions on gender-responsive infectious disease policy, sex-disaggregated data, and the removal of structural barriers to healthcare access. Our work amplifies women-led organisations, applies intersectional analysis, and holds global health institutions accountable to their gender commitments.
